New Holga!

Back in August I mentioned that I was retiring my Holga due to, what I have diagnosed, as the spring going in the shutter. It wasn’t totally borked but it did mean that I always needed a solid surface to brace the body against when trying to get a picture. Considering this is a camera that is frankly made to shot from the hip this really didn’t work for me. Luckliy for me however my wonderful girl friend took pity on me and got me a new one for Christmas!

The old one was the 120GN model that had the glass lens where as this new one is the older 120N model that is fully plastic. I’m quite interested to see how this differs in terms of the image quality. I’m expecting it to be even less predictable than my previous one and I’m really looking forward to having a play with it this week. Hopefully I’ll be posting up a new photo diary soon with poorly exposed, out of focus, distorted pictures for your viewing pleasure.
